I am a fully accredited, UK trained consultant with a specialist interest in facial aesthetics including Botox, Hyaluronic Acid Filler Injections, Medical Skin Care and Skin Cancer Surgery.
I graduated from the University of Birmingham and went on to complete my higher surgical training in Ear, Nose and Throat in the West Midlands. My special interest is Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology . I deal with conditions such as skin cancer, nose bleeds, nasal allergies, anosmia, nasal polyps, sinusitis and nasal blockage. I am a core member of the Multidisciplinary Team for skin cancer management.
I am Clinical Governance and Patient Safety lead chairing two meetings per month on how we can make things safer for ENT, learn from complaints and compliments, audit our results and treatment pathways.
Education and Teaching is an important part of being a Consultant and I am responsible for the training and assessment of GP trainees during their rotation in ENT as well as clinical supervisor for our ENT Registrars during their rotation. I have created and set up several courses including West Midlands FRCS Registrar Viva course, West Midlands Facial Plastics dissection course and Ultrasound neck aspiration course. I have also established the Women in Otolaryngology West Midlands group. I continue to educate myself by regularly attending courses and conferences and I am currently in the process of obtaining another degree from the University of Paris in Rhinology.
I am happily married with two young children and enjoy spending as much time as possible with the family creating memories. We enjoy cooking together, playing in the parks, visiting the botanical gardens and travelling.
