Dr Veitch is a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon. He is the clinical lead for skin cancer surgery and Mohs surgery at St Michael’s. He qualified from the University of Edinburgh Medical School and achieved an additional honours degree in Immunology during his training. He completed a highly competitive Mohs Micrographic Surgery and advanced dermatological surgery fellowship in the UK and continues to promote excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He has worked at many well-respected centres in Scotland, England, Australia and New Zealand to broaden his dermatology experience.

Dr Veitch has extensive research experience and is widely published in the medical literature. This includes articles in the British Journal of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery. Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Clinical and Experimental Dermatology. He completed the prestigious UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network Fellowship and has been the lead investigator on numerous clinical trials. He teaches clinicians with the British Society for Dermatological Surgery to support the national delivery of gold-standard surgical outcomes. Dr Veitch is experienced in the assessment and management of all skin diseases. His specialist interest is Mohs Micrographic Surgery which he undertakes at St Michael’s Clinic and Oxford University Hospitals.
