I have been visiting this clinic for the last 10 years, so that goes quite a long way in saying how good they are! My treatment is for hair removal, which was really bad when I started and I felt like a freak. To start with I think I was having treatment 6 times a year, I now only need 3 a year to keep things in check. I also had thread vein removal on my face which was incredible. The result was instantaneous and it made me look younger. I have seen Doctor Alice in the past and I now see Vicky, who is very professional and lovely to chat to, making you feel at ease.

I have had the pleasure of not only knowing Alice and Mark in my personal life but also through the clinic for my own derm concerns. Whilst I was worried about my skin they offered professional advice which has helped me so much as well as reassuring me. They are always there for a consult and never let me down.

At The St. Michaels Clinic, we offer consultations with Dermatologists, Skin and Laser Specialists, and Cosmetic Doctors who are all qualified with years of experience to ensure the treatments you receive are safe and appropriate.

Dermatologists are expert specialists, not only of the skin, but also of allergic conditions such as contact dermatitis, hair problems such as alopecia (hair loss), and nail problems such as fungal nail conditions.

If you have concerns about any of these areas, please call to make an appointment to see one of our specialist consultant dermatologists.

In October 2010, the Government implemented a change in the regulation of providers of cosmetic laser treatments, and some surgical treatments including the use of anti-wrinkle injections such as dermal fillers and neurotoxins by totally removing these from the regulatory body, namely the Care Quality Commission, that had previously overseen standards.

This means that anyone could now treat you with a class IV laser, or inject you with a filler, without any significant training.

We can reassure you that The Skin and Laser Clinic remains committed to providing safe cosmetic and laser treatments in an environment that is fit for purpose, and we remain registered with, and regulated by, the Care Quality Commission.
